Mike DeFrino, MD, luxury & lifestyle Americas at IHG Hotels & Resorts, said: “We’re looking forward to bringing another Kimpton to the New York City market, and Kimpton Hotel Theta will bring an unexpected, refreshing experience to the Midtown West neighbourhood. The hotel will serve as a boutique oasis designed to delight all guests who are looking to stay in the middle of it all but also have space to recharge and reset.”

Located on 48th Street and 8th Avenue at the nexus of the Theater District and Midtown West, a block off from Times Square, Kimpton Hotel Theta will be the ideal launch point for exploration, with easy access to the city’s transportation hubs. Guests can find themselves anywhere in Manhattan within twenty minutes, or they can step outside and stroll to iconic attractions, from Broadway to MoMA.  Attracting both first-time visitors discovering city highlights and nearly-natives returning to their second home, the unique location represents the heart of the city in every sense.
