New Delhi (TAN): Air India has announced a new non-stop flight connection between Delhi and Seoul, starting September 19.
The airline will operate its Dreamliner B-787 on this route.
This will be the shortest flight between the Indian and South Korean capital with six hours flight time.

This partnership between Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) and Air India aims to encourage more tourists from India to visit South Korea.
“South Korea is steadily growing as a preferred tourist destination amongst Indian travelers… Growing air connectivity and flight frequency will definitely be a constructive contributor for the growth of tourism numbers between both the nations,” KTO New Delhi Director Jong Sool Kwon said at a recent event.

In 2018, as many as 119,791 Indians visited South Korea and 150,457 South Korean tourists visited India, a media report said. The substantial number of visitors from both countries prompted Air India and KTO to join hands and start this new flight.
