“We are excited to further diversify our portfolio in Turkey with the opening of Sheraton Istanbul Levent,” said Safak Guvenc, area vice president – Gulf, Levant & Turkey, Marriott International. “Sheraton Hotels & Resorts has a long-standing history in this market, and we are to proud build on this legacy by opening Sheraton Istanbul Levent, showcasing the brand’s fresh and contemporary updates as part of its new vision. This opening reinforces Marriott International’s commitment to Turkey, and we look forward to expanding our portfolio in the country and supporting the growth of its tourism sector. ”

The Levent neighborhood, previously a formidable navy base during the Ottoman period, is now the main financial district of Istanbul, where skyscrapers rise along with famous shopping malls and popular restaurants. The vibrant area is filled with art and culture, gourmet dining, shopping and entertainment. Conveniently located at the heart of Levent, the hotel adjoins the Sapphire Shopping Mall and is in close proximity to the upscale Istinyepark, Kanyon, and Zorlu Shopping Malls. Sheraton Istanbul Levent is a 30-minute drive from Istanbul Airport and has direct access to the city’s metro lines situated at the hotel’s entrance.

At the heart of Sheraton Istanbul Levent is the lobby. This has been re-imagined as the “Public Square” of the hotel; a holistic, open space that invites people to come together or to be alone amongst others, creating a sense of energy and belonging. With a flow that is natural, intuitive, and uncomplicated, guests have what they need within arm’s reach, all set against an inviting backdrop that feels warm and comfortable yet refined.

Original artwork from local artists is showcased throughout the hotel, chosen to spark visual inspiration including work from celebrated contemporary Turkish artist, Seckin Prim.
