Agra (TAN): Bad weather is adversely affecting the tourism industry in the city of the Taj Mahal, where the mercury touched 47 degrees Celsius on Saturday.
The entire North India is reeling from extreme heat with places in the Indian desert state of Rajasthan crossing the 50 degree Celsius mark.

An IndiaToday.in report quoted a Met official as saying the hot weather would continue in Agra for the next few days.
A foreigner couple said they wouldn’t have come to see the Taj had they known the weather would be this hot. Some also complained of the lack of adequate drinking water facilities at the world-famous tourist site.
