Bangkok (TAN): Thailand-based hospitality chain Dusit International has entered Doha in Qatar with Dusit Doha Hotel.
Cluster General Manager at Dusit Doha Hotel Gerhard Stutz said: “A modern oasis for people to meet, dine, stay and relax, Dusit Doha Hotel delivers the ultimate in luxury and comfort for locals and international visitors alike.”

“Qatar is one of the fastest growing countries in terms of tourism, and its reputation as a destination of choice is only set to be cemented further when the FIFA World Cup is held here in 2022. As such, there could not have been a more opportune time to launch Dusit Doha Hotel. We now look forward to delighting guests with our unique brand of Thai-inspired gracious hospitality while positioning the property as the leading hotel in Doha,” he added.
The five-star property, featuring 264 rooms, and suites and 96 apartments, is located in the city’s West Bay area. While the suites and rooms offer spacious living areas, the apartments come in one-, two- or three-bedroom arrangements, the hotel said.
Guests can sample global cuisine at the all-day dining restaurant ‘Taste’, which also hosts regular theme nights. Dusit’s signature Thai restaurant ‘Benjarong’ will soon start operations. A bakery ‘Antoinette’s Café’ and restaurant ‘The House’ will also come up within the property.
Dusit Doha boasts a rooftop swimming pool, children’s pool, rooftop lounge and a sundeck area overlooking the city. It also has a ballroom that comes with a private terrace.

The hotel chain’s signature ‘Devarana Spa’, sprawling across the entire 29th floor of Dusit Doha, will offer ‘massage therapies and wellness treatments’ to guests.
Dusit Doha Hotel is a short walk from the city’s tourist attractions, and 20 minutes away by car from Hamad International Airport.
The hotel is offering special booking rate and other deals as part of its inaugural celebrations. The deal is valid until July 31, 2019.
