San Francisco (TAN): Who doesn’t love a hot dog, but to live inside one! Now that would be something else. The United States’ celebrates July as the National Hot Dog Month, and global home-sharing platform Airbnb took the opportunity to introduce a Wienermobile hot dog fans can rent for an overnight stay.
The Wienermobile, a series of automobiles shaped like a hot dog on a bun, was first used by American meat company Oscar Mayer to promote its products. Although it was unveiled in 1936, the Wienermobile has never acted as an accommodation for the public.

But that is about to change. Hot dog-lovers will be able to book the automobile for a night between August 1 and 3, for USD136 per night, excluding taxes and fees.
The stay will be hosted by the Wienermobile’s official drivers – Oscar Mayer Hotdoggers AlexanDog and Jake-N-Bacon in Illinois’ Chicago metropolitan area.
The accommodation for two will include an outdoor space, a Wienermobile art piece by a local artist, and an Oscar Mayer roller grill that one can take back as a memento. It will also come with a mini fridge stuffed with Oscar Mayer hot dogs and everything necessary for Chicago-style hot dog eating.
