Miami (TAN): Florida-based Regent Seven Seas Cruises will nearly double internet bandwidth size across its fleet by January 2020, starting this month.

It will not just make internet surfing faster and more enjoyable for guests, but also more dependable across devices, the luxury cruise line said.

Guests will also have a more efficient log-in process when they connect to the ship’s network through a log-in webpage.

Jason Montague, Regent Seven Seas Cruises president and chief executive officer, said: “Nearly doubling bandwidth provides Regent guests with an even faster and easier free internet experience to stay in touch and share their travel experiences with their family, friends and business associates at home while sailing around the world.”

The cruise line will install a new digital guest survey across the fleet by October 2019 which will enable them to track guest experiences in real time.

Putting an end to guest satisfaction surveys on paper, the digital platform will empower guests to provide feedback through a web-based questionnaire while sailing, and the feedback will automatically reach the authorities.

Regent Cruises will also introduce complimentary unlimited valet laundry service for master and grand suite guests, starting this month.

“Across our fleet we continue to refine the small details, such as creating a faster internet, including free valet laundry service for Master and Grand Suite guests, and deploying a tool for real-time guest feedback. This significant investment demonstrates our commitment to providing guests with an unrivaled experience,” Montague added.
