India: Vistara to fly nonstop daily to Dibrugarh in Assam

New Delhi (TAN): India-based airline Vistara will operate daily nonstop flights between Dibrugarh in Assam and Bagdogra in West Bengal from April 3, 2019.

The carrier will also connect Dibrugarh with Delhi via the same aircraft with a stop at Bagdogra.

“At Vistara, our aim is to bring ‘the new feeling of flying’ to more business and leisure travellers across the country, and we are pleased to add Dibrugarh to our growing network,” said Sanjiv Kapoor, Chief Strategy and Commercial Officer at Vistara.

“Hot on the heels of our announcement of service to Raipur, this announcement of service to Dibrugarh is the second in a series of flight additions Vistara has planned starting this summer,” he added.

With the new addition, the ‘Tea City of India’ situated in the upper Assam region will become Vistara’s 24th destination in the country and second in the state of Assam after Guwahati.

The new service is expected to offer more flight options to business and leisure travellers.

According to the schedule, flight UK 725 will depart Delhi at 0755 hours and reach Bagdogra at 1000 hours. The same flight will take off from Bagdogra at 1035 to land in Dibrugarh at 1150 hours.

The return flight UK 726 will leave Dibrugarh at 1225 hours, arriving Bagdogra at 1335 hours. It will then depart Bagdogra at 1410 hours, and reach Delhi at 1630 hours.

One-way fares for Bagdogra-Dibrugarh start at INR 2399 all-inclusive, while that of Delhi-Dibrugarh start at INR 4999 all-inclusive.
