US: DoubleTree by Hilton opens posh property in Florida’s Doral

Miami (TAN): United States-based hospitality major Hilton Hotels has its newest DoubleTree property in Florida state’s Doral up and running.

Located nine miles from the Miami International Airport, DoubleTree by Hilton Miami Doral is the brand’s fifth hotel in Miami.

DoubleTree by Hilton global head and senior vice president Shawn McAteer said: “Miami is one of the world’s most popular destinations, offering beautiful beaches, a vibrant culture and unparalleled attractions year-round for business and leisure travelers alike.”

The 150-room hotel features a fitness centre, an outdoor pool and terrace with bar, event spaces, a restaurant named ‘Rocio’, and ‘DoubleTree Made Market’ offering snacks and other tidbits to guests. The hotel also operates a complimentary shuttle within a five-mile radius.

Managed by Florida-based hotel management company Driftwood Hospitality Management, the property is easily accessible from Miami International Mall, Downtown Miami, South Beach, the Art Deco District, Port of Miami and Miami Beach Convention Center.

DoubleTree by Hilton Miami Doral also forms part of ‘Hilton Honors’, the company’s guest-loyalty programme.
