The airline will fly to the Croatian capital four times each week – Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays between April 16 and May 30, 2019, owing to upgrade work on Dubai International Airport’s southern runway. It will thereafter become a daily service.

Operations on the route will then be taken over by Emirates’ partner airline flydubai for the winter.

The reopening is part of a strategic partnership between Emirates and flydubai.

The carrier will deploy its Boeing 777-300ER to serve the route. Emirates’ daily service will be conducted in an aircraft with eight first class, 42 business class and 304 economy class seats.

flydubai flies twice a week to the Croatian city of Dubrovnik on Sundays and Thursdays.
