Nagarhole National Park is home to more than 70 Bengal tigers

Mysuru (TAN): Two motorcyclists in South India had a narrow escape when a Bengal tiger gave them a chase while they were passing through the Nagarhole National Park.

In a chilling video take by one of the riders that has gone viral on social media, a Royal Bengal tiger is seeing first running along the road with the bike and quickly cutting across the road in a bid to grab the two wheeler. The bikers sped up and escaped.

Media reports said the incident took place Saturday on the Kerala-Karnataka border on the fringes of the national park.

Apart from more than 70 Bengal tigers, the Nagarhole National Park is home to leopards, elephants, sloth bear, several kinds of antelopes and wild boar.
