Air Canada Rouge launches pop-up with multi-sensory experiences to celebrate airline’s success

Montreal (TAN): Air Canada’s low-cost subsidiary airline Air Canada Rouge has unveiled a pop-up with installations and multi-sensory experiences to exhibit its products at Toronto’s Eaton Centre.

The airline launched the pop-up to celebrate its accomplishments over the past few years.

Managing Director of Brand at Air Canada Andrew Shibata said: “The success of Air Canada Rouge over the past six years has been remarkable.”

“We have continually enhanced our customer service since launching, including upgrades to our streaming in-flight entertainment system, installation of high-speed satellite internet, new onboard food options, including a partnership with Freshii, and an improved Premium Rouge cabin. To celebrate these achievements and our ongoing refinements we wanted through this pop-up to let people sample the fun customers on Air Canada Rouge experience during their holidays,” he continued.

There are several experiences to choose from, including walking the ‘Rouge’ carpet, and getting a chance each day to win two tickets to any one destination served by the airline.

The pop-up will operate until June 2, 2019, from 1000 hours to 2130 hours Monday to Friday, 0930 hours to 2130 hours on Saturday, and 1000 hours to 1900 hours on Sunday.

The carrier collaborated with Canadian video production company Echo Bay Media to demonstrate its success, which includes flying over 30 million passengers in over 50 aircraft.
