AirAsia loyalty members can fly from Kuala Lumpur to China’s Quanzhou for MYR 99

Sepang (TAN): Malaysia-based airline AirAsia will fly nonstop daily between Malaysia’s capital Kuala Lumpur and Quanzhou in Fujian, China, starting May 1, 2019.

“AirAsia has been championing connectivity to secondary cities in China such as Guilin, Shantou and Nanning,” said Chief Executive Officer of AirAsia Malaysia, Riad Asmat.

“This Kuala Lumpur-Quanzhou service further grows our footprint of unique destinations in China, and will provide greater accessibility to Malaysian and Chinese travellers. As we continue to expand in China, we look forward to exploring opportunities to connect our other, secondary hubs in Malaysia to China as well,” he added.

Quanzhou once used to be one of the world’s biggest ports and the starting point of the Maritime Silk Road, and continues to be important for travellers interested in the region’s cultural, religious and architectural diversities.

According to the schedule, flight AK 270 will take off from Kuala Lumpur at 0820 hours daily, and reach Quanzhou at 1255 hours. The return flight AK 271 will depart Quanzhou at 1355 hours, landing at Kuala Lumpur at 1830 hours.

AirAsia is offering all-in fares starting at MYR 99 (member-only fares for one-way travel inclusive of taxes) to celebrate the launch. Non-members prices start at MYR 104.

The deal is valid for booking until April 14, and for travel between May 1 and October 26, 2019.
