Paris (TAN): The Eiffel Tower was closed on Monday evening after a man was spotted climbing it.
“The Eiffel Tower is currently closed until further notice. We kindly advise our visitors to postpone their visit,” a tweet on the official account of the world-famous landmark said.
“Shame we had to cut our trip up the Eiffel Tower short,” wrote Twitter user @PaigeMcSorley.
She also put up a picture in which a person is seen on the tower.
