Paris (TAN): The Eiffel Tower, which was closed last evening after a man was found climbing on the Paris landmark, opens for visitors again at 0930 hours local time on Tuesday.
“The #EiffelTower will reopen tomorrow morning at 9.30am,” a tweet on the world-famous monument’s official Twitter handle said.
The Eiffel Tower had been closed to visitors after the climber was spotted,
The authorities had tweeted: “The Eiffel Tower is currently closed until further notice. We kindly advise our visitors to postpone their visit.”
“Shame we had to cut our trip up the Eiffel Tower short,” wrote Twitter user @PaigeMcSorley.
On May 15, the Paris landmark celebrated 130 years of its inauguration.
