Hilton’s latest luxury brand LXR Hotels & Resorts gets new global head

McLean, US (TAN): United States-based hospitality company Hilton has appointed Feisal Jaffer as the global head of its brand LXR Hotels & Resorts. Hilton’s newest luxury brand was introduced last year.

Jaffer, with around two decades of experience in hospitality, real estate and technology sectors in various parts of the world, will supervise the Hilton brand, the hotel said.

“Set apart by an extraordinary commitment to personalized attention, the LXR brand is rooted in a unique sense of discovery and adventure,” Executive Vice President and Global Head, Luxury & Lifestyle Group, Hilton, Martin Rinck said.

“In our search for a new leader for LXR, we knew we would need someone with an entrepreneurial spirit who relishes in creating bespoke guest experiences. With nearly 20 years of global experience growing businesses and brands across the hotel, real estate and technology sectors in the Asia-Pacific, the U.K. and the U.S., we knew Feisal would be the perfect fit,” he added.

Jaffer acted as a Senior Vice President, Business Development, in Singapore-based multinational hotel firm Capella Hotel Group before joining Hilton. He also served as Senior Vice President, Acquisitions & Development at Singapore-based hotel company Pontiac Land Group.

“Hilton has successfully created a luxury collection brand that connects iconic hotels and resorts into an exclusive network offering singular service and remarkable experiences. I am incredibly honored to lead LXR, and look forward to the opportunity to continue building this unique brand,” Jaffer said.

He will be based in McLean in United States’ Virginia state, Hilton’s global headquarters.
