(TAN): SkyTeam, the global airline alliance, has introduced a tool called the Carry-on Calculator, aiming to provide customers with a stress-free travel experience across its member airlines.

This tool, accessible through SkyTeam’s official website, allows passengers to ascertain their hand baggage compliance for every airline in their itinerary, bringing peace of mind before they even step foot in the airport.

With the Carry-on Calculator, customers need only enter their travel class and the airlines they are flying with. Within seconds, the tool accurately compares the hand baggage allowances of all the airlines on their schedule. It considers the most restrictive carry-on and personal item allowances for each flight, including dimensions and maximum weight, ensuring that travellers are well-prepared and informed for their journey.

“Not having the correct hand baggage can mean customers encounter the unexpected stress of having to check-in items at the gate, particularly during the peak travel season. Thanks to SkyTeam’s new Carry-on Calculator tool, customers can quickly find out how much they can bring on board and enjoy their journey, knowing their travel essentials will be within limits and within reach on the aircraft,” said Skyteam CEO Patrick Roux.

The Carry-on Calculator is part of SkyTeam’s ongoing efforts to spearhead innovation within the aviation industry and elevate the benchmark for seamless travel.
