(TAN): Denarau is a tourist town in the Fijian province of Nadi, surrounded by palm trees and beautiful beaches. This Island is a man-made private resort complex, which was formed by reclaimed mangrove wetlands. 

The Republic of Fiji’s main island is 160 kilometres away from the island of Denarau.

Denarau Island attractions

Port Denarau Marina: The Port Denarau Marina is a major location for watersports and shopping.

Big Bula Water Park: The park is located at the center of the picturesque Denarau Island. The tourists can enjoy inflatable water slides, climbing walls, wave pools, and bounce houses with their families.

Kula Wild Adventure Park: This is a location that can offer the best combination of nature and adventure. Here there are Fijian created iguana, many of the local beautiful birds as well as various breeding programs for endangered species.

Vou Hub Fiji: Vou Hub is a vibrant cultural event that takes place in Fiji. This production is lively, noisy, and incredibly captivating. People can experience the Pacific through this performance.

Momi Battery Historical Park: This is one of three locations on Fiji’s main island. To guarantee an entry into this park, reservations should be made ahead of time.

Food and drinks

The Wet Edge: A great place to grab either lunch or dinner, the place has a view of the Nadi Bay waterfront.

Cardo’s Seafood and Steakhouse: The place is famous for its steaks and cocktails. The restaurant also serves great seafood. 

Waitui Bar & Grill: An exclusive adults-only restaurant, this is located within the Waitui Beach Club. This restaurant offers excellent grilled meat and seafood.

Lulu Bar Restaurant and Cafe: Known for its friendly staff and good meals on offer.

Best time to go

Denarau Island is most accessible from May through September. The time between November and April, which is regarded as the wet season, might be a fantastic time to go.

How to get there

Denarau Island is 10 kilometres from Nadi International Airport. Visitors flying into Nadi can take a cab to Denarau Island.
