San Francisco (TAN): InterContinental Hotel Group’s (IHG) brand Kimpton Hotels and Restaurants is gearing up for Pride celebrations this year.
It has collaborated with California-based non-profit organisation The Trevor Project, the company’s charity partner which provides suicide prevention and crisis intervention services for LGBTQ+ youth to celebrate the occasion. All proceeds from the festivities will go towards the organisation.

Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director for The Trevor Project, Amit Paley said: “We’re so grateful to Kimpton for their commitment to local LGBTQ communities, especially their work to ensure LGBTQ guests and employees know they are welcome in their hotels and restaurants.”
“With Willam at the helm of Brunch Out With Trevor this year, we know our message of support will reach LGBTQ youth so they know they’re never alone, and can always reach out to The Trevor Project for support 24/7,” Paley added.
Kimpton Hotels will host events including a drag brunch event series featuring Willam from A Star is Born and RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 4 at three of its properties across the country. The series, called “Kimpton Off the Record Presents: Brunch Out With Trevor” will feature not just live drag performances but also food and cocktails.

Kimpton Hotel Eventi, New York City, will host Pride celebrations with WorldPride on June 29, between 1200 hours and 1500 hours, while Kimpton Hotel Van Zandt in Austin, Texas will host festivities on August 11 from 1200 hours to 1500 hours with Austin Pride. Kimpton Hotel Monaco Philadelphia, in conjunction with GLAAD’s Spirit Day on October 17, will organise the events on October 19 from 1200 hours to 1500 hours.
Additionally, Kimpton Carlyle Hotel Dupont Circle in Washington, D.C. will hold an art exhibition “One Voice” supporting the LGBTQ+ community between June 5 and September 2, and the Kimpton Vero Beach Hotel & Spa, Florida will host ‘Ride Sunday Funday’ at the hotel’s Heaton’s Reef on June 30.

In California, the Kimpton La Peer Hotelin West Hollywood will host a Pride by Design weekend between June 7 and 9, while the Skyline at the Kimpton Everly Hotelin Los Angeles will present its second annual “Shakespeare on the Deck: A Midsummer Night’s Dream” with a storyline focused on the LGBTQ+ community from June 21 to 23. The Kimpton Saint George in Toronto, Canada will host a Drag Queen Wine Hour with local drag queen, Tynomi Banks on June 12.
The Trevor Project rate offer will give 15 per cent discounts on Kimpton’s Best Flexible Rate with a donation of USD10 per night to The Trevor Project for guests travelling for Pride.
