Cairo (TAN): A tourist from the US was arrested here on Saturday evening for taking “obscene photographs” of himself at the Giza Pyramids, media reports said.
The 40-year-old man allegedly pulled down his trousers and asked his wife to take pictures of him.

A report in Egypt Independent said the police identified the man as homosexual and he apparently wanted to take the pictures and put them up on social media for “attracting homosexual partners”.
The man has been interrogated and is in the process of being prosecuted
