Montgomery, US (TAN): Alabama state tourism’s Sweet Home Alabama campaign has joined hands with Brand USA to promote historical and culturally significant places in the southeast US state.
A Brand USA statement said the joint venture – primarily a digital campaign – aimed at drawing more international visitors by offering attractive travel opportunities in the state.
Brand USA now partners with 14 states to promote the US Civil Rights Trail. Apart from Alabama, it is collaborating with state tourism organisations in Tennessee, Mississippi, and Georgia.

Its two self-drive itineraries include ‘The Civil Rights History Trail’ and ‘The Southern Civil Rights Story’.
Last December, Brand USA worked together with Sweet Home Alabama, The Madison County Convention and Visitors Bureau, Alabama Mountain Lakes and Space Camp to promote the Bollywood movie ‘Zero’.
