French hospitality company Ibis, owned by Accor Hotels, has reopened the Ibis Styles Gloucester Road in London’s South Kensington neighbourhood after a makeover in order to offer guests an experience of the London Tube.
The hotel has used orange headboards and cushions in each of the 84 rooms to evoke the old-fashioned charm of the Tube seats.
While vintage Underground posters enhance the Tube theme, railway souvenirs and logos can be found everywhere.

Pillows are printed with travelcards, and bathrooms are called ‘water loos’ to keep up with the pun.
