Located in the St. James’s district of Westminster, south of Charing Cross, the hotel sprawls over 92,000 square feet of luxury space.

Lulu Group invested USD 171 million, in a deal with London-based property developer Galliard Homes, to develop the hotel which now features 152 guest rooms and suites, and a Victorian townhouse.

For culinary investigations, guests can visit The Yard by Robin Gill, the main signature restaurant of the hotel, serving modern British food, or the East India Company-inspired The Parlour that specialises in the British classic, the afternoon tea. Guests looking for both coffee and cocktails can head to Forty Elephants, or to Sibin for a round of whisky.

The site originally served as the residence for the Scottish kings and ambassadors while visiting England, which gave it the name The Great Scotland Yard, or the place of the Scottish royalty.

In 1829, the Georgian townhouses were declared as the headquarters of the newly founded Metropolitan Police by Home Secretary Sir Robert Peel.
