Tel Aviv (TAN): An ode to all things handcrafted by local artists, The Vera Hotel in Israel’s Tel Aviv stands out for its unique décor and sleek interiors.
The 39-room boutique hotel, situated in the city’s historic Neve Tzedek neighbourhood, once functioned as a maternity hospital, reports said. Owner Danny Tamari bought the building that lay vacant for years, which was then transformed into a chic property by Tel Aviv-based architecture studio Yaron Tal.

While engraved tin ceilings and brick walls adorn the lobby, locally sourced personalized pieces and furniture complete the stylish look – Tel Aviv-based designers Tomer Nachson and Ohad Benit designed the furniture and blown-glass light fixtures, respectively.
The rooms, categorised as Cosy Room, Classic Room, Superior Room, Superior Chill Room, Deluxe Room, and Garden Room, are designed minimally with wood and blackened steel for a calming effect. Some of the rooms open out to a green space for further relaxation.
