Dubai (TAN): If you are among those who enjoy a good movie while flying, your options are about to get better. Emirates flyers can now glance through the airline’s app to create a playlist of their choice even before boarding the aircraft and sync it to their seats once on board.

Emirates claims the “innovative new function” will allow its passengers to design their trips more efficiently.

“This latest functionality on the Emirates app elevates the customer experience even before they step onto the aircraft. Our customers can now browse the unmatched content on offer and create personal entertainment playlists at their leisure, and once comfortably settled in their seats on board, they simply sync and press play,” said Emirates President Tim Clark.

The syncing is currently available on 100 Emirates Boeing 777 aircrafts, and is expected to be expanded across the entire fleet in the coming months.

Emirates said customers, through their Emirates app, can browse over 4,000 channels of entertainment, with over 1,000 movies, TV box sets, podcasts, music, games, and tens of thousands of music tracks to choose from ahead of their flights.
