India: IndiGo to launch new flights to these Arab countries

Delhi (TAN): India-based budget airline IndiGo has introduced new flights to United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia from India. The carrier will operate daily nonstop flights between the Indian capital and the Saudi Arabian port city Jeddah starting July 25, and from Mumbai to Kuwait starting August 5.

IndiGo will also operate its third daily direct service between Mumbai and Dubai in the United Arab Emirates from July 25, owing to growing demand on the route, the company said.

“These new routes once again reflect our unflinching commitment towards expanding our international operations. Our mission is clear; to boost economic growth in India, and help promote trade, tourism and mobility. These are exciting times for the industry and we are optimistic of the many opportunities that will enable us to contribute towards India’s socio-economic growth,” Chief Commercial Officer at IndiGo, William Boulter, said.

According to the schedule, flight 6E 1741 will depart Delhi daily at 2200 hours, reaching Jeddah at 0210 hours the next day, which will cost passengers INR15,899. The return flight 6E 1742, which will take off from Jeddah at 0300 hours and land in Delhi at 1115 hours, will cost INR14999.

Flight 6E 83 will take off daily from Mumbai at 1230 hours, and arrive in Dubai at 1405 hours, with a pocket pinch of INR7770. The return flight 6E 84, that costs INR7548, will depart Dubai at 1505 hours to land in Mumbai at 2005 hours.

Flight 6E 1766 will leave Mumbai at 0530 hours daily, arriving in Kuwait at 0710 hours, and the return flight 6E 1767 from Kuwait will depart at 0810 hours and reach Mumbai at 1510 hours. While the flight from Mumbai will cost INR11,499, the return flight is priced at INR13,999.
