Singapore’s local delicacies will get a Pan Pacific makeover

Singapore (TAN): Singapore’s local food is famous the world over. And hospitality company Pan Pacific Hotels and Resorts will give those savoury delights an upgrade at PARKROYAL on Pickering hotel this year.

The hawker-themed buffet, named ‘Loco Local’ will be available at the hotel’s Lime Restaurant between August 5 and September 1.

The four-hour treat will include Alaskan King Crab Meat Char Kway Teow, Lobster Roti Jala, Hokkien Noodles with baby lobster, Singapore Chili Crab, Hainanese Chicken Rice, Bak Kut Teh Soup with Pork Rib, and Chicken Satay with Peanut Sauce, among other local favourites.

Desserts will comprise Ice Kacang, Pong Piah, Tau Sar Piah, and mini assorted Nonya Kuehs, among others.

The buffet will set customers back by SGD68 per adult between Sundays and Thursdays, and SDG78 per adult on Fridays and Saturdays. The price includes unlimited local beverages.

The hotel is offering 15 per cent discount on the bill with at least four paying adults.

For kids between the age of four and 12, the buffet will cost SGD34 per person from Sunday to Thursday, and SDG39 per person on Fridays and Saturdays.
