SpiceJet to start daily nonstop flights between Mumbai & Hong Kong from July 31

Mumbai (TAN): India-based low-fare airline SpiceJet on Thursday announced the launch of a daily non-stop flight connecting Mumbai with Hong Kong.

Once the service starts, SpiceJet will be the only Indian airline to have a direct flight between Mumbai and Hong Kong. SpiceJet already has a direct flight to Hong Kong from Delhi.

In a release, the airline said it will use 168-seat Boeing 737-800 aircraft on the sector.

“The flight is timed perfectly for business and leisure travellers alike with a late night departure from Mumbai 0105 hrs and a morning arrival 0940 hrs in Hong Kong thus maximising passenger comfort and providing more choice and flexibility,” the airline said.

SpiceJet is offering introductory all inclusive promotional fare starting at INR 16,700 on Mumbai-Hong Kong route, and INR 19,200 on Hong Kong-Mumbai route

Ajay Singh, Chairman and Managing Director, SpiceJet said, 

“SpiceJet’s new Hong Kong flight will help meet the growing demand from both leisure and business travellers to and from Mumbai,” SpiceJet chairman and MD Ajay Singh said.
